Campus Arena ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent campus community platform at campusarena.co. This policy explains the information used to operate the service, how it is shared, and how to contact us about your information.
We collect information you provide directly, including:
We may automatically collect:
We use your information to:
Your full university email is used for account access and is not shown to other students by default. Profile details you choose to make part of your profile, including campus, academic information, connection preferences, posts, answers, Pulse activity, and group participation, may be visible to eligible students through the features where you submit them. Other people can copy or share content they can access. We do not sell personal information. We also use or disclose information:
Talks and Pulse may offer an anonymous display option. This hides your identity from other students in that view; it does not make the activity anonymous to Campus Arena. We retain the account association for abuse prevention, moderation, legal compliance, and account controls. Do not include identifying or private information in content you want to appear anonymous.
Campus-scoped content is intended for eligible members of the applicable campus. Access controls are enforced by the service, but another authorized student may still copy, screenshot, or share content they can view.
Uploaded media may be accessible to anyone with its link. Avoid uploading confidential documents or images. The service and its providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States.
Using GIF or sticker search sends your search text, IP address, and browser information directly to the media provider. Viewing shared GIFs and stickers also makes requests to that provider. Avoid entering personal or confidential information in GIF and sticker searches.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember profile information, preferences, and prompts. Logging out ends the session; clearing browser storage does not delete your account or content. You can manage push permission in your browser or device settings.
We use service diagnostics to understand errors and performance. We limit the account and request information included in these reports. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted and may be accessible to us and service providers as needed to operate the service.
We use safeguards such as signed sign-in sessions and access checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your university inbox secure, do not share sign-in codes, and contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
You can edit your profile in the app and contact us to request:
Send requests to projectca1124@gmail.com, preferably from the university email associated with your account. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Available rights and response deadlines depend on the law that applies to you.
We retain account and content records to provide the service, respond to requests, preserve campus contributions while an account remains active, and address legal or security needs. Pulse and Talks content can remain available after it is no longer recent in a feed and after graduation while the account remains active. You can initiate account deletion from Settings or at /delete-account. Account deletion removes the active account and associated user-generated content from the live service, including owned posts, replies, listings, memberships, and direct-message history as implemented by the deletion workflow. Uploaded files are queued for ownership checks and cleanup; contact us with your cleanup reference for status. You may also contact us to request content deletion. Reports are available to authorized moderators for safety review. Some information may remain in backups or where retention is needed for legal obligations or security; we will explain relevant limits when responding to your request.
Campus Arena is for people aged 18 or older. The sign-in screen asks you to confirm this; university email verification does not verify your age. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it, including removing the account and information where appropriate.
